Koshi Tappu jungle safari

Kosi Tappu jungle safari is an interesting trip located in the southeastern lowland of Nepal. It is about 500 km far from Kathmandu by road. Fly from Kathmandu to Biratnagar then drive the 40 km road to the wildlife reserve. It is situated at 100 m to 150 m above the sea. It spreads in the Saptari and Sunsari district in the bank of Koshi River. The reserve established in 1976 with the purpose of wild water buffalo (Arna) protection. It is a wetland enlisted the Ramsar in 1987. The reserve is the best bird watching place in Nepal. Read more......Read more.....
